India at Crossroads

scams gnawing away nations vitals
we, at threshold of anarchy's portals
troublemakers readying.their torches
to lit fires of mistrust that scorches
one meaningless movie that started riots
one caste to.religion to suit bigots
when SC says 'dont arrest innocent '
to burn nation, some are hell bent
in this chaos, Anna's comic relief
his Lokpal fast, he has too much belief
is there a glimmer of hope somewhere?
is there one man who can stand up and dare?
in our march, we have now reached.a fork
towards the right choice, we all have to.work
Anna Hazare 80plus is agitating for Ombudsman.He is unfortunately, due to his age and poor health, not very effective now.

We the common folk are tired of all hypocrisy and mass killing and riots! While so many other countries make giant strides, India with so much man power and potential is fast going to the dogs all because of corruption and lack of right policy....! Will there be a savior is a question all seem to ask! A very realistic picture of the present scenario, so poetically put! (10)
