Politicians create barrier, whereas poets break it. Poets break the boundaries of religion, nation and what not. The blood of every living body is red to indicate God is one. But no two persons agree on a single point in this world that gives room for bitterness and hatred between man and man, nation and nation, country and country. This is an excellent poem.

It was God's will that you should become a Doctor so that you could serve Mankind better! And by writing Poetry you can maintain your sanity, in this world of hatred, secularism and bigotry! 10, from Raj Nandy

it's very unfortunate that we continue to be ruled by those raw emotions and bitterness...god save the two of us!

This poem is extremely well presented. The last stanza is a sorrowful and truthful summation of Independence Day and I commend you for writing it! 10 Karin Anderson

we are celebrating our independence day in the midst of self-imposed bloodshed corrupt leadership on-sale dignity mocking poverty and dying morality I knwo how you feel exatly, my friend. Watching PTV forspecialindependence day broadcast last night in London was mockery of the reality...But I guess you got to celebrate the fact that you belong to a country who has been in crisis since its birth and surviving again.... My own poem Safe Uncertainty yesterday was a tribute to what I value about Pakistan and its honest and sincere people. I really appreciate your poem and the spirit that you have written it with. Bold and honest piece of writting Kamran, Really liked it. Thanks for sharing. Rehana Nazli London, UK 14th August,2009. Pakistan Independence Day.
