This is good... no.. this is excellent... there are subtle philosophical depths and implications lurking in the shadows of this very carefully constructed poem that moved this reader, threw me off balance early, swept me up again and carried me on and brought me out of the spell with a shuddering start at the conclusion.... and you did it convincingly; not an easy business with this kind of material. I'm a bit concerned though that I may be seeing a reflection of something real from my own secret 'world'! ! First class work imv. x jim

Excellent poetic story telling here, Christine. I adore the absence of hesitation here, the commitment to the telling. It's really quite unique in its presentation and powerful in its tone. It leaves the reader (this reader, anyway) feeling like a shadow in the corner of the room... rapt, and wanting to tip toe along after you even while thinking it a dangerous thing to do.
