Incongruous Poem by Doris Cornago

Incongruous

Rating: 5.0

Just your smile rewinds my battery
And your eyes spark my armory
Ukraine is at war but I'm stuck
In a safe house dreaming about

A world apart, never met even once
Who can believe we've carried on
For more than eight going nine
Not minding the world, like Alice.

Take the blue bottle, mine's red
Spinning from 2012 thru 2020
With champagne in long stems
We're obnoxiously incongruous

Incongruous
