INCOMPREHENSIBLE LOVE

Incomprehensible love
Encompasses us with care
And so often we dismiss the thought
That love is really there
Yet by God's Holy Spirit
He seeks to lead us home
And bring to us the realization
How far off we've roamed

Away from God and desolate
Such is sin's isolation
Separated from the hope
That can change our situation
But then God brings the circumstance
That gives us clearer vision
How far away we are from Him
And warrants a decision

A Christian friend... a private prayer
A signature of faith
The sweetly drawing by the Spirit
We hear the Lord's... "thus saith"
And hope expands it's horizons
Our spirit is renewed
There's a Salvation in Lord Jesus
That before we never knew

Now a hungry heart is savouring
As it never had before
Truth found in the Word of God
That Jesus is the Door
So that hope opened by faith
Let's grace employ it's power
And whomsoever believes in Christ
Is saved that very hour!
