In Your Eyes Poem by Satheesan Rangorath

In Your Eyes

I walked along the beach several times
used to watch her little soft shoe flower foot prints behind me
hand in hand we watched the dawn sun

his face popping from a snow white cloud
he had his eyes closed in a meditative trance
the golden crown was melting into a fall
cascading through the mountainous dark clouds
splashing through the snow

I see wonder looks in your eyes
when we saw a full circle rainbow
and gliding golden falcons watching the shore
suddenly you left me unaware
leaving me in this lonely beach alone
still, your little footprints chat with me in silence
see your eyes of wonder wandering on the magic of the seaside.
