What had that flower to do with being white, The blue prunella every child's delight. What brought the kindred spider to that height? the design of the darkness of night.... wonderful. tony
That's life, that's nature. A well written poem by Robert Frost the great observer of nature.
A beautiful creation nicely brought forth in verse with rhythmic splendour........................................................
What brought the kindred spider to that height? (Make we no thesis of the miller's plight.) What but design of darkness and of night? Design, design! Do I use the word aright? ........touching expression with lofty theme. Beautiful poem.
It makes very interesting reading. Enjoyed thoroughly. Thanks for sharing.
A spider and a flower, the spider weaving its web, the poet too his poem's theme, and with economy of words... and rhymes too, only two rhymes all thru, and the result is beautiful, and what else when the poet in question is Robert Frost.
The poetry with delight and wisdom. Always full of imagery and great use of metaphor! excellent piece of Frost
The poem takes us to a thoughtful world to answer the poet's questions, " What had that flower to do with being white" etc.
White colour camouflaging the spider to weave its web to catch moth to fly as kite is a wonderful composition of Robert Frost!
This is great pleasure to read such a nice poem of great poet, the number one poet of the world., who is evergreen, who considers drop of snow as dented spider and who recognizes the lifeless stained cloth as well as curiosity of strange sight in his eyes.
beautifully penned- The beady spider, the flower like a froth, And the moth carried like a paper kite. .../// great expression
The master Robert Frost has crafted a lovely poem about a spider and unfortunate moth.
Nature’s ways are so difficult to question. Great poem by Robers Frost.
Robert Frost question the natural moral order where the moth has to die so the spider can survive with beautiful imagery. The poem even considers that somehow the blue prunella played a part in the demise of the moth even though it is every child's delight. the imagery in this poem is very phenomenal.
Once again: Congratulations on being chosen as The Modern Poem Of The Day! A finest poem about natural Design
