In the field of frozen mud, there is a hope in the form of a lone pear tree and under its shade a man waiting with hope of a transit. All left there, but something delays his transit, Like that tree which is still bearing fruit in the frozen land, he is bearing fruits of hope for a transit to a place beyond the border which is ten steps away, beautiful. thanks

The pitiable condition of the old man during transit of a group, of may be refugees, adroitly portrayed.

May be this relates to a war ravaged place where people have fled to safer places, even across the borders. Very poignant picture created with words. Thanks, KK.
