In This Rain Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

In This Rain

Rating: 5.0

In this rain I wish
You should leave your cosy place
Please walk down to the dale with
Your fluttering skirt and loose tress

In this rain I wish
Raindrops to hang onto your hair
Like pearls showered in thick gush
From sky, a sight so beautiful and rare

In this rain I wish
You to get soaked deeper into soul
You should fall into my tight embrace
And I can love you deep and whole

In this rain I wish
Clouds not to be cruel and recede
To a corner and vanish in horizon
Leaving young hearts to wail and bleed

In this rain I wish
It is high time both of us to unite
To live in the luxury of true love
To let our soul to glow with divine light
