i liked the repetition of the rhyming line at the end of each stanza. this is one line i disagreed with, though it is a nice thought i guess. this also sounds nice (even disregarding the nice rhymes) : In this life, we need His mercy and grace In this life, let the Lord be your brace In this life, however hard be your case Make no waste, but with Him keep the pace In this life, we must do just what is right.............what happens if we don't do just what is right i wonder. i'd 'like' to read just one poem by Clarence in which he sides with the Devil, but that wouldn't be Clarence! i guess the devilish poems are ones i'll have to write. :) this poem is bound to end up in my/our June 2016 'showcase for PH poets, found in my list of poems on my PH site. thanks Clarence. bri :)
