In This Financial Crisis, We All Need A Miracle Comments

Rating: 4.8

Our 401k,403b and 457 plans have lost more that half of their values.
The wars have exhausted our resources; no more fancy menus.
Downtown is like a ghost town, everybody is scared; nobody is shopping.

You used 401k and 403b which absolutely i don't absorb.Whatever it is i think it revolves in businesses and finance establishment. But you right there's nothing impossible in God and we all need miracles to this global crisis.

Honestly this is more of a prose than a poem...seems you live some where between wall street and main street....too much wall street chatter....nice prose though.....

Oh, you put this so very well, Herbert! But you are right, I do trust my president Obama and feel, though it will not be easy and take time, he will lead us into the light again! Thank you for your poem! A '10! ' Best Wishes, Marilyn

Your words kicked right into my heart, that tries not to think about this huge problem. We are victims to this crisis, and our hard earned retirement package is almost non existent. Its a great title and a much needed protest poem. Excellent writing. Karin Anderson

What we need is to collectively, all & one of us, from every corner & niche of this planet of O U R S, to realise, that no matter who our Heads of State be...that at the end of the day it is We, the People of Our World, who dictate each TODAY what negativities TOMORROW will allow us to leave behind on YESTERDAY. Commendable work, H., ...Impactive theme, and obviously one that can be deemed quite apropos! F j R 2009

For a miracle to happen, means dat one is hopeless. It is you to give hope to world. If America is hopeless, then it is the end of the world!

political figures are what they are, you can tar them all with the same brush, none of them will bring those whose greed brought the card house down to justice. Why because money talks - it will be a long time before things turn around.

Well, this was not a poem in my view. Though it had the structure of one. This is really an essay on the status of the financial situation today and a belief the better things will follow. I share the hope, if not so sure of the belief. It was well written. Good job. GW62

A reminder of the recession that will get worse before it gets better. Here's hoping for a miracle
