A poem that reveals the agony an old man suffers in his old age when he is literally deserted by his children.He succumbs to a world his lonliness and limitations. He waits for his children and grandchildren to offer him the last rites, being it his ambition..10

Beautifully crafted and well executed write. The imagery is so compelling making the reader a witness of the dying parent 's thirst to see his children. Very gripping. Onto my Poem List.

A powerful, insightful and touching poem. A vivid portrayal of the agony of parents awaiting death. Only a Poet who has deep love, care and respect for parents can weave such a marvelous write detailing the pains and desires. of a dying parent. A wake up call to everyone.

Any old parent waits to get a warm kiss from his children. This is true. Watching hardness of sky an old man thinks for softness of his filial love. This is very nice poem!

Lonliness is the saddest part that old age carries with it. Part of it is just our own changes that we go through. some time even in the crowd of people old ones seem to sit quietly. your poem expresses the agony of old age so eloquently. Congratulations Valsa for the deserved member poem place.
