Beautifully expressive piece, Michael. We are all wells of inspiration and the source is infinite. Sharing that wealth with others is what love is all about. Poetry is love in blossom! And you bloom so eloquently. Linda :)
Funny, how beauty comes in all forms, and I saw the beauty here...not in the riches that these men possess, but in the sharing...there is the wealth that they have. Perfection, Michael, and you are one of the blessed as well, for YOU are a poet as well.
And like Rumi with his gift of incredible concision, Mr. Shepherd, you have achieved that here. Concision, to me, is a virtue. Can you make something so crystal clear that no one could possibly ever misinterpret what you are saying? Yes, you can - and you did.
Rich with creativity, metaphor, and thought. Enjoyed this self-reflection provoker a great deal Michael.
Another gem from your spiritual treasurehouse, Michael - to share with the world. You offer the reader your Self itself in these 'In the spirit of Rumi' poems. Thank you. love, Allie xxxx
