This is sublime poetry. Truth perfectly penned and with a gently teasing spirit that makes it recognizable and accessible; rather than out of reach. With your permission, I would like to read this in next week's Yoga class. love, Allie xxxx

Scarlett, I've removed the last part. But I must affirm that the same Beloved who gave us reality and illusion, and laughter to blow away illusion, loves the present more than the past or future... and loves to share a joke - even about Poemhunter, where we can speak of the Beloved in public. - Now there's a thing! Michael.

Michael, I was reading along, and thinking that this sounded like one of the love songs in Songs of Soloman, some of the most tender, caring, and truthful expressions of love I have read lately. I must admit, however, that I did not care for the PH reference on the end, for the pure and simple reason that it burst the bubble of the purity of the poem before it. Modern life intruding on the old fashioned love song? ? Anyhow, I loved the first part.
