In The Sky Poem by Michael Koelliker

In The Sky

We sit in the clouds of a mellow sunrise
Someone sailing on the horizon.
We call out to him to take us away
On a journey so far away from this world.
Impossible freedom from this endless oppression.
We sit on this boat with only our feeling to row.
We drift upon lilies that grow so ever high,
They hide our passion between them
And no one will ever have to know.
Our passion raises up above the sky
We are on the clouds floating in endless bliss
Forever entwined and perfectly completed.
It will take the end of time to draw us apart,

But in the end we remain ever long,
One tribulation after another,
Until we prove ourselves strong.
Our time is now and I will never give up.
There is no second chance at this
And there is no other chance to live.
This is what we are fighting for.
And I will care evermore,
And I will care evermore...
