What if you don't wake up tomorrow
How would you sleep tonight,
Would your soul be full of sorrow
Would your mind be full of fright.
Could you even close your eyes
While knowing they would not be opened again,
Would you then dream of all yours lies
While remembering each and every sin.
Would you be able to sleep
While lying frightened in your bed,
Instead of snoring, would you instead weep
Knowing that in the morning you would be dead.
Would you reminisce of your past
And remember all of the mistakes that you did make,
When you didn't helped when you were asked
And every caring heart that you did break.
Would you toss and would you turn
With every thought entering into your mind,
Are you going to burn
Before salvation and that peace you hoped to find.
Maybe it was just a thought
But, then maybe it was just a warning,
Maybe forgiveness you should had first sought
But, then who knows if you'll wake up in the morning.
