'It fell like rain into my lovelorn heart' - aha, so nice and soothing! 'And the moon riding in the palanquin of clouds' - aha, so poetic flight of thoughts, I can only exclaim in joy rather than write a word or two! 'In the open, I sat long like a sculptured figure' - an example of perfection of translating thoughts into words! An excellent poem,10/10 from me!

Thank you... I was in need of beauty being spilled over my day today! ! ! Lovely as usual, my dear Valsa. And I have a thing about doves===they are building a nest in the evergreen in my front yard- -so I get twice blessed today. 10+++++++++++++++++++++

Valsa, what a gift—no matter how many times we may experience it—for something in nature to enlighten our seeing, and you’ve captured such a moment well in this poem. The title, The Hush of Eve, is mellifluous and evocative. My favorite line is, I sat long like a sculptured figure—which conveys the pleasure and the wanting to make it last. -Glen

It is a pleasure to read an account of a blisfull evening through your pen and walk the place through your eyes, and feel all the tender emotions through your heart. All we have to do is to keep our hearts open to such beauty. thanks Valsa.

maybe " she heard" at start of line 2? i'm not sure who is speaking of whom. it's not one of my favorite poems of yours. but i enjoyed these lines: " And the day paving way to night In darkness, fireflies dancing in delight" At first i thought this would be a poem written by Adam about his joy over Eve keeping her mouth shut, especially about apples! bri ;)

It's really a gift to have the tender feelings of the mind been roused by the crooning of a dove and to have been hailed to emotional heights. It is certainly the symptom of greatness of a mind to sit long immersed in nature's rythm and to feel brimmed with umpteen desire. Thank you Valsa George

Part - 1 A captivating expression has been made on a tranquil evening where your observation has come to an umpteen outlook. The passionate crooning of a dove, bright sheen of pearls on trees, resting wobbly on the edge of leaves, scent coming from opening flowers, dancing of fireflies in delight in darkness, riding of moon in the

This is a poem of gratitude, but the speaker is restrained in her expression She doesn't prioritize things but treats all things as equal.. The title tells us there is an extraordinary silence in nature but I feel it is also in her inner being. She has almost merged into nature herself. Her quiet thinking sustains the world. We can be grateful for that also.

A magnificent piece of poetry replete with imagery! Your keen poetic observation of ‘crooning of a dove’ ‘palanquins of clouds’ among others are just fabulous! I was moving from stanza to stanza (Stanza 1 to stanza 7) to trace series of things that have captured your imagination! You have brilliantly streamlined events one after other and placed them in order! Beautifully structured and brilliantly drafted (Part 1)
