A heartfelt beautiful write which illuminates the lightness of being of a very much loved soul. 'he lived in the soft evening colour, in the gentle shimmer of things.' Which is so profoundly sad to me as it suggests an almost preceding ethereal crossing over from this world. A stunning spiritual write that lingers long after the first read.10+

Has there ever been such a glowing two lines in the history of poetry? Dang, this resonates- - - - he lived in the soft evening colour, in the gentle shimmer of things. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Then again this entire poem resonates with both the loving kindness of the father and the lovingkindness of the daughter. A soft rain of 10s on this poem and a valued place on my Fav list
