In The Garden Of Eden Poem by Matloob Bokhari

In The Garden Of Eden

IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN

In the garden of Eden
Days were full of spring flowers
Nights packed with incense burning tables
Tender girls, wearing royal and rich perfume
Were speaking honey-coloured words
All were laughing and drinking
Singing, dancing, embracing and kissing
Kissing - countless like the stars of night
Boys were wearing garlands of white violets
Girls were weaving necklaces of narcissus flowers
All had gone mad with the sting of love
Everyone was like an angel
Speaking sweetly, laughing attractively
With shinning faces and joyous hearts
