In The Early Morning Sunshine Poem by Rebecca Navarre

In The Early Morning Sunshine

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I feel like I've lived
a million lives, and died a million
times. But I guess it's just my mind. But
sometimes I'd swear, I see you standing
there.. In the early morning sunshine.
Then I blink, and not even your shadow
can I find. I whisper I love you. And open
the curtains all the way to skies so blue.
Slip on my old slippers and lightly touch
your picture. Then turn to start another
day, new.
