In The Days We Live Poem by Conley Murray

In The Days We Live

We are living in a time,
that the world is full of hate and crime.

For human life there is little respect,
and no one knows what to expect.

Our law enforcement are on high alert,
because another tragedy they want to avert.

The kids are kept in disarray,
because their parents have gone astray.

The days disciplining our kids are almost gone,
they are hardly taught to know right from wrong.

We need to get back to the old fashion way.
Families need to find some time each day,
to get down on their knees pray.

Once again I have to agree. especially liked these four lines: The kids are kept in disarray, because their parents have gone astray. The days disciplining our kids are almost gone, they are hardly taught to know right from wrong. Another good poem.
