In The Darkness Poem by Maegan Lefevers

In The Darkness

In the rainy night
When the room is dark as lead
You feel something inside you
Almost a feeling of dread

You try and you try to get out of your head
Wishing and hoping the thoughts to not spread
For in the darkness you can see
The way your brain calls out to thee

You think you head is the only problem
My dear, look again
For in the darkness one can find
Something more heartless than the mind
