In The Beginning Poem by Robert Hilary

In The Beginning

Rating: 4.0

In the beginning, there was nothing.
There was no space, there was no existence.
That which was, was not.
Nothing was infinite, timeless, immeasurable.
there was no creation, no destruction. No order, no chaos. No darkness, no light.

...only stillness.

to define nothingness is to loose the state of nothing to definition.
but it was unlimited, vast. Beyond any manner of comprehension.

In the center, or beginning of nothingness. was the source. the core of all reallity.
The spirit of all, that manifested the nothing.
The source was the exact opposite of nothing.
one could say, if there was one to say, that nothing exists as the only contrast to source, connected to source as the space of potential possibility. The source being the center of all possibility.

Source, spirit, beingness, touched the nothing....

From within from without a light appeared.
This light expanded before time existed,
Impregnating the nothing, with being.

the light filled the void.
the light expanded from within, through infinity.
with the light, there was contrast.
through contrast, there was time.
with time, the light began to take form.
As form came into being, creation began.

so began the universe....
