Hey, Daniel! Hope this finds you well. An interesting pairing in parts I and II. Part I made me think of sleepless times as in my poems Awake at 2 A.M. and Awake at 3 A.M. Part II reminds me of those dreams that gave my perspective a boost or needed readjustment as in Dolphin Dream or I Was Visited or Dream Debut. Blessed be sleep and the sleeplessness that helps us appreciate it. -Glen
Great depth as usual Daniel. Two different perspectives put forth with such finesse n flair. Nothing more terrible than a sleepless night and nothing more beautiful than sound sleep. And dawn is of course the end of the agony and anguish of a troubled night. I can feel the sunshine suffusing me with new vigor and hope as i read the last stanza.
