I love the repetition with variation in your poem, which not only gives us the timeframe of the seasons but gives a sense of the rhythm of time passing. And I might add, it reconciles us to the seasonal change, which brings foul weather, ages us, distances us from past delights. Thoroughly enjoyed this poem, I'm a gardener myself. I feel the longing to be in the soil, churning, planting seeds, tending to them as they grow. Your poem makes me feel like there is beauty year round, no matter what the season. Thank you for sharing.
The great purity of natural beauty, in this naturally beautiful poem. Wonderful.
Excellent poem. The surprising last two lines make it really superb.
