Your imagination has taken you to a world where you find tons of sorrows. I quote, ‘There is no winter here/Nor spring, only sorrow one after another/Following the dying time A high wall of depression is built”……You have brilliantly unfolded the scenario of Pub! A thought provoking poem! !

Thanks for telling me about KING OF LOVE. That is a great book title. Is it available in bookstores in Beijing?

Not sure as the books were published nearly 15 years ago. I'll message you Mr Shang email address to you so you could contact him directly.

This poem has lovely, fresh lines. I think the poet was bitten deeply by the love bug, belonging to an easily infatuated species (情种) : I WANTED TO LIFT HER LONG HAIR/ TO FIND OUT HOW HER WISE FOREHEAD THINKS.....EARS ARE CREATED BY GOD/ ARE DEDICATED TO LISTENING TO LOVELY WORDS.....WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE OUR LIVES TO SPEAK.....I WAS WORRIED WHETHER SHE COULD FULLY WAKE UP....

Ha ha, Denis, You do reckon Mr Shang is one of the easily infatuated species, don't you. He actually published a collection of poems titled King of Love...... :)
