Thanks, Captain Cur, for the inspiring comment. It was a great delight to read and recite your wonderful poem- 'Dusk, As The Carnal Scenes Burst Forth', which I have done several times before writing this reply.
Younger days will stay green forever...poetic, rustic village life!

We walk on two parallel roads. One in the past and one in the present. Beautiful poem. Thank you.

Thanks for your comment, @Poem By. Glad that my poem reminded you of a time in your past.
We can't physically walk on this road of memory, yet how easy it is to travel back to any hour that held pleasant memories for us. We can linger there as long as we like. What a wonderful conveyance our mind is. Very nice poem, Khairul.
This morning I've read your wonderful poem 'Elusive Love' and left the following comment: This is a poem of sadness, yet so soothing to read, ponder over and compare with our own fair or unfair share of melancholy. The expression is truly poetic, choice of words strikingly appropriate and the mood of the poem soul touching. I commend Laura for this outstanding poem, which goes straight to ‘MyPoem’ list.
Thanks Lora, for stopping by and reading my poem. I am truly inspired by your having read the poem and sharing your thought.
I miss my brief spell of childhood That I spent in my village home. The gentle breeze causing waves In the lush green paddy fields, the Unmetalled country roads that I Leisurely trod, roadside vendors And petty pedlars, who I would Stop by to listen to, all beckon to Me for a revisit. Miles and miles of Trodden country roads, so familiar! ................................. ........such familiar places no where remain.............you recalled those memories so beautifully..............a poem full of salient thoughts.gets us back to our roots!
The first part of your poem has transported me to a very familiar setting and environs which I once loved so much but which is now only part of my memory! How you have set the two tracks side by side and conjoined them to life, the one we use now and then to run errands and the other, we can never travel back.... A poem which brings in very salient thoughts to brood over! Loved reading and a 10!
This poem takes me on a journey to a country life, Good to hear your musing..
I've read two of your beautiful poems this morning and left a comment on each. Loved both.
