I instantly took it to be an issue of gang warfare and the destructive nature of divided communities You see only colours Of homies and crypts this being the common problem found in inner city communities were divisions grow between people where there should be no divisions between brothers and sisters. What you see, what you learn In our society torn Makes' you stronger and better Then those in CONTROL Unfortunatly what people see is the wrong things and without a strong foundation and investment in education or a desire to better oneself most people of lower incomes only see the struggle of survival and no way out Break free from the cycle Learn to be free Show the children colours Mother Nature give's to thee I like the majority of this, but what I dont understand is how mother nature, helps, to me people need more than just mother nature, they need foundations to learn why its important and how to move away from the bling bling that cheap fortune expresses. Really good poem
