In Our Silent Companionship Poem by james watkin

In Our Silent Companionship

In our silent companionship
It will be left to nature
To quote the effusions, piquant
That do not, from tongues, but pant.

The tide of these muffled hearts
In the sea-cave outspoken!
On the sea-shore, advancing;
With open jaw of a din!
