In My Mind's Eyes - Ode To A Sphinx Poem by Henrietta Ezegbe

In My Mind's Eyes - Ode To A Sphinx

Rating: 5.0

Once upon an enigma
With pearls for teeth, they seem to live to smile
Ever beaming from inside out
With gold for a heart, their aura serenades
They walk in the room, energies shift
They stun forever, everyone stares

My clairvoyant, high vibrating, celestial one
Companion to the aged, a baby whisperer
The furry friends flock to their side and remain
Strangers share their lives details unprovoked
Mysterious, unparalleled, you unicorn!

In my mind's eye, you stay ever smiling
In my mind's eye, you are ever green
I am obsessed, possessed, consumed!
Once upon a sphinx, from what astral plane does thou originate?
