In My Mind's Eye. Poem by Shaun Cronick

In My Mind's Eye.

Rating: 5.0

A lover's poem,
Or one to terrify.
It's down to mood,
In my mind's eye.

I'm Willo the Wisp,
Maybe Marley's ghost.
The one never seen,
Or meet the most.

I'm in your bubble,
Or many miles away.
An idea exclusive,
Or a thought astray.

Never here nor there,
Always near or far.
A poetry enigma,
From a mind bizarre...

Very good... I particularly like your references to Willo The Wisp and Marely's ghost.. most apt. I believe Poe referred to his creative mind as the imp of the perverse. It's an enigmatic ten from me Shaun!

A fascinating and interesting poem. The mind has many facets. It can do and create many things. A beautifully crafted and conveyed write that captures the many wonders and power of the mind.
