I had a dream of you last night
I’ve had this dream before;
The love we shared was beautiful,
I woke up wanting more.

The joy I feel while I’m asleep
Is genuine and true;
Even if it’s just in dreams,
It seems so real with you.

When I awake and I’m alone
These feelings fade away;
But I’m hoping one day soon
They’ll stay throughout the day.

For when we meet again, my dear
I promise this to you;
This time our passion will be real,
When all my dreams come true.
