In My Dreams Poem by Darren C Harris

In My Dreams

In my dreams

Even now, in my dreams,
Your face keeps haunting me,
My heart is scared forever more,
For all eternity,

Even now, in my dreams,
Your voice echo's in my mind,
Tracing steps we've taken,
The blind leading the blind,

Even now, in my dreams,
I feel your gentle touch,
As shivers of emotions,
Through my body rush,

Even now, in my dreams,
I try to masquerade,
Hiding from the demons,
That keeps me constantly afraid,

Even now, in my dreams,
My hands reach out for you,
But a ghostly vision is all I see,
With a feeling of emptiness too.

Even now, in my dreams,
Your face still keeps haunting me,
I'm tormented by my memories,
For now, Forever,
For all eternity.
