In My Church Poem by Randy McClave

In My Church

In my church I am relaxed
As I have been vaxxed,
Against Covid and also against the Devil..
From the virus I will not get Ill
Nor will I succumb to the Devil's will,
The playing field is now once again level.

At church we all do pray
For the sick and the dying every day,
And for those who now lay dead..
We pray for the sick to get well
We pray for them all not to go to hell,
And we pray that the Bible and FDA reports are read.

In church we always praise the Lord
And his almighty swift sword,
As he truly loves us each one and all..
He strengthens our very soul
Love and peace and salvation is his goal,
He doesn't want us to ever trip or fall.

At church we all sing songs
Forgive us of our errors and all of our wrongs,
Thank you for the miraculous gifts that you gave..
Thank you for giving us knowledge
And for the doctors, teachers, that went to college,
And for the mind and the lives that they did save.

As in church I clasp my hands in prayer
For the souls both here and everywhere,
Truth and facts I will not ever deny or smirch..
Our bodies have took the vaccine
And Jesus has made our souls clean,
With a smile, I now look about in my church.
