We are all in a cell Bruce, the cell of our subconscience. We all would like to admit our crimes, but there are those who try to hide from them in their subconscience. There are those who look and act like they have nothing bothering them, but everybody has at least one skeleton in their closet.
The best we can do to get rid of those skeletons is to be pure of heart, and keep the Lord in our hearts all day long, every day. The crime of being is the worst crime yet, because we have the unmitigated gall to say we are perfect, and then go around judging others by our individual standards.
When we can have the Lord Jesus in our hearts and souls, then the crime of sin will be wahed away, and we wll be forgiven for our transgressions.
This is a well written poem Bruce, and has a very profound message for the reader. This is only my interpretation, and I will be willing to bet that other readers will see the message differently. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing.
Love & hugs,
Barbara
