In Memory's Hands Poem by james watkin

In Memory's Hands

Rating: 5.0

Retrieve for me, what most
Magical through Time
Are of your hands, Memory
Sent back; and let's see
There bearing, a child's own
Joyful extended is not
But christmassy shown!

While losing count, what had
From off them been lost
In balls' high bouncing, askew
Kept rolling years through.
Letting go, each stone's hold
Remorseful all together;
Through acts uncontrolled.
