Graham, a better dog poem, I've never read. Very touching... great write! ! Brian

This was the same for us Graham with a cocker spaniel, Lily we had had only ten months and she was only just 4 years old. Her kidneys weren't big enough to support her body, it was a birth defect no one knew about. This was only about four weeks ago, and she was so sweet and so loving. This is a lovely poem. I wrote one about one of our other cocker spaniels, called 'Our Cocker Spaniel' who reached the grand age of 13 years, and I still cry when I read it, she was gorgeous as were all our dogs. One gets so attached to animals, it's awful when they die. This is a lovely write. Thank you for posting it. Love Ernestine XXX
