If you were here my bud
You could have blossomed
Into a flower so beautiful
A cynosure of every eye.
Spreading the fragrance of love and warmth
Sixteen summers like a day have passed
And I see your transformation
From a cherubim to a dimpled Angel.
In your heavenly sublime home
You watch, pray, plead and meditate to God
For your bereaved earthlings
Even now tear drenched in your memory.
