CONTINUED: This poem makes the reader think, think through, but it does not become clearer. A truly thought-provoking poem. It doesn't get any clearer, but it is disturbing. The disturbing feel is accomplished, so we can say: a good poem.5 Stars Full and thanks for sharing.
This poem addressed to the reader suggests that it has been censored and therefore of the 29 lines only 16 remain. But was there a censor?
A missing poem is most annoying, particularly if a computer virus has caused it, or the censor has crossed it out. Your sixteen sparkling lines become the missing poem, I think.
Thus it becomes all that I was unable to say, The sunya in the heart of purna, The cavity in the middle of the decentred Text; in a word, the death of the self, a very nice poem.. the death of the self. tony
Thus it becomes all that I was unable to say, The sunya in the heart of purna, The cavity in the middle of the decentred Text; in a word, the death of the self, ......much impressive. Beautiful poem. Thanks and congratulations for being selected this poem as the member poem of the poem of the day.
The poem penned in lieu of the missing one is quite interesting and in tune with modern age. Congrats for its selection as modern poem of the day.
Lovely Poem! The sunya in the heart of purna - Impressive way of expression (if I correctly understand - using vocabulary from another language) ! But never attain-I mean, Love? - True! Congratulations, Poet!
Missing Poems! oh by the virus! absent mind! such a way missing the love! such a way missing the heart! Poems are love, heart............... living long life absence of present by the virus of lazy the poems live far away........! !
" Something that we strive towards" ! 🤗 Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Wonderfully conceived and executed poem. It seems that Makarand Paranjape is suggesting that through art we can only hint at life's profound mysteries never fully capture them. Personally, I hate to lose any of my work...but this particularly enticing poem certainly makes up for the missing one!
Thers is NO MISSING ONE, dear poet! Just in the thoughts of the poet, to imagine is more impressive than to just read
Did I lose it to computer virus Or did the censor excise it; Or were there only twenty-nine in all, Making this the unwritten poem? - - Online writing may have to to run the risk of missing and becomes non-existant again... Wonderful poem shared. Congratulations!
Wonderfully worded. All that couldn’t be expressed.....hidden or elusive. Congratulations.
Poets strive for the 'absent presence' - the impossible, but it does not deter. 'Did I lose it to a computer virus, Or did the censor excise it'; those lines stand out for me as such a beautiful blend of rhyme, rhythm and tone in a poem filled with deep thoughts..
This is really wonderfully written with a lot of metaphor and similes......well done Paranjape.....thanks for sharing....10++++
Such a wonderful poem by Makarand Paranjape.....................
Congrats being chosen by Poem Hunter and Team as The Modern Poem Of The Day
