In Heaven's Skies Poem by Jason Summers

In Heaven's Skies

I lie awake wondering where you have gone
Not knowing where to look for you, will my life go on?
Often I stare into a crowded room waiting for you to walk by
And always in my dreams at night I hear you whisper, 'goodbye.'
I can't help but wonder how and why God could ever do this?
All the hurt and pain I have inside because you are missed.
Today I decided to say a little prayer trying to relieve some grief
And then I heard the words so clear...'all you had to do was believe.'
Overwhelmed with tears of joy and nothing more to fear
I realized you must have it better in heaven's skies up there.
