I just wish there was no heaven. Perhaps then, all that it is believed to happen there happens on earth. It is not worthwhile to suffer for a future guaranteed by a belief, not fact. Life is about here and now!
The last stanza speaks everything....about the heavenly soul...good poem
The description of heaven, in contrast to the dirty world we live in, by describing the soul, which are dotted with missing characters, make this poem to be nondescriptive. The time is divine, divine is exactly the second, which becomes eternal and gives to this allegorical poem its necessary density.I think that this conceptual metaphor ''Every holy minute and divine second'' is the ''key '' expression of the poem.a little 10 for a great poem.
