In Earth's Lap Poem by james watkin

In Earth's Lap

Rating: 5.0

For my comparative smallness
No shame to say I lie
For man, a babe; therein cradled.
To feel her; be felt by.

Where a grass, softest, seamless joins
A mother's floral dress.
A breeze, from out tree-shade, sounds out
A mother's tenderness.
