In Dreams...7657 Poem by DM W

In Dreams...7657

.
In dreams, I see all the people of my isle.
Some are still young, but others have sadly died.
Some are calm, whilst others with wild desires burn.
Some seek wisdom's fruits whilst others never learn
I pray for the lost souls in the ragged night.
It's a torturous path towards the Light.
Though summer's flowers are quickly withering,
Autumn and winter will be usurped by spring.
Although we often dwell in lengthened shadows,
There is always hope for brighter tomorrows.
O we should follow enchanted, verdant ways,
And provide the gods of fortune with our praise!
