In Dark
In dark of night
After the long day
Where memories have walked
Memories that cannot be stopped
In pain unending
As the years past away
Not knowing why
Nor understanding how
How can some act
To cause such pain
There is no answer
There is no end
One cannot hide
Cannot escape
In dark of night
All alone
Lay in bed
And cry
