Hardy ha ha! Loved it... Well done, great rythmn to the whole piece. HG: -) xx
After you visited me, I decided to reciprocate.I am richer for it. Selam, ngaio
I absolutly loved it! That is very funny (probally not at that time) , but i can believe that could happen. Great poem! You would have thought that the guides would have believed you, since it is a Safari with animals roaming around. Kat, =)
A terrifying ordeal given the Hansford treatment - rhyming couplets, linguistic dexterity, a huge helping of humour and a warning. A highly amusing poem of signifiicant value, especially for tourists on safari - every bush loo should have this poem pinned (or elastoplasted) to the door! S ;)
Paul, this is simply hilarious...and I have no doubt about its truth. My husband's daughter was in the Peace Corps in Thailand and had a cobra in her 'loo' one day. And now she works in Uganda and has had many a cobra on her property and underneath the car. We'll be glad when she gets home. But as to your poem, you used the rhymes well and the images were more than funny. Thanks for telling me about this one. Raynette
That is too funny! Hilarious!
