In Between Poem by prasanna kumari

In Between

Between

In between the broken sleep and broken home
the termites eating uncertainty

Losing one's way back home is not memory loss
but the home does not exist there

Between the concocted lies
I lie awake for a glimpse of truth
to pacify me
From where can I borrow some solace to fill the dash between birth and death

BETWEEN....
..laughter and tears
is there anything to boast
..two beats of the heart
I search for the language of Love
to break the fence of our mind
..day and night
the twilight stares at my secluded soul
..the dawn and dusk my failures creep in
...our eyes is there a whisper of words,
meaningless, inaudible and of imperfect spellings
..love and life wisdom disappeared
never to be found again

From between the sun, moon and stars
a fierce storm waiting to blow on us
atrocities of acute changes in weather and climate, pandemics, dirty politics and wealth mis- management
reaching to historic tragedies

And...
Will there be a wonderland for me filled with sound and hues
except poems on
you and you and you
and ME
