In A Perfect Dream, I'M The Only One Missing Poem by Christopher Cariad

In A Perfect Dream, I'M The Only One Missing

Laying next to you
Caressing your faultless body
I dream of the perfect life,
You always beside me.
The pristine wedding
And the flawless house.
The model kids
And with you
My immaculate spouse.
Living in this perfect world,
Filled with rainbows
And all things of beauty.
An ideal world,
In a dream
That will never come true.
In a world
Where perfection is you.
Rising from this daze
I hold on to my love.
Hoping that this paragon
Would hold on to me to,
In this dream
Of the apt few.
