Sorry. I could not give you a 10- -the voting booth is buried and irretrievable under a bilious heap of ads. Looks like PH has made a decision that ads are more important than their faithful membership.

And that is the penalty of falling in love. We go all starry-eyed out in the world innocently expecting people to be honorable and true to their words and promises and the next thing you know we're wondering why we miss them. Excellent write. 10

Thanks Susan! ~ Yes it's something that really shouldn't have a penalty. One could say it happened because you leaped before you looked but honestly no amount of looking let's you know how it will turn out, right?

That is the question isn't it? It seems to defy reason, but when was love ever reasonable. If it were all of the poems even before Shakespeare would have had no need to be written. One moment the clarity of high places such as a mountaintop and then a valley of questions turned over and over in the mind like polished battered driftwood on the shore. Love is lost in translation between the heart and the mind.

Though the relationship has become strained and both drifted apart, you still keep a place for him/her in your heart! That's why you still miss him/her. Human mind is a puzzle, we often fail to fathom it or rationalize the way it acts! Happy to hear from you after a long interval!

Yes, that's it exactly! It's nice to hear from you as well; and I'm glad you're still writing such amazing poetry.~
