Congrats for Potd. And i quote, Ten years of fitting our bodies together and still they sing wild songs in new keys. It is more and less than love: timing, chemistry, magic and will and luck.

.Citing your last stanza here: One plus one equal one, unknowable except in the moment, not convertible into words, not explicable or philosophically interesting. But it is. And it is. And it is. Amen.................Adding Mark 10: 8 ....and the two will become one.' So they are no longer two, but one.. Inspired by the Bible text I reckon.

Congratulations on being chosen as the Modern Poem Of The Day, Mrs. Piercy, a well deserved 10 Full Vote. Thank you so much for sharing this most enjoyable poem about the occurrences going on. An excellent poem about making love in clear details and entertaining though.Though chosen for the second time, my attention is still the same, even bigger. You´re most deserving, Mrs. Piercy. God Bless You and Mr. Wood in Abundance. Amen

A poem about love, life and the little incidents intimately projected in this brilliant piece. The kind of poetry, I so admired. The metaphors here described are finest but ardent, in a way they touched my heart since I can almost hear those sighs inside the place. My CONGRATULATIONS on being chosen as the Modern Poem of The Day,

i like this poem, this ode to sexual intimacy that is frank but not crass. those of us in long-term relationships can easily relate, and there are excellent descriptions in it, my favorite being xylophone spine. -gk

One plus one equal one, unknowable except in the moment, not convertible into words, ......touching expression with a lofty theme. One plus one is possible in Love not in Mathematics. A beautiful poem so nicely executed. Thanks and congratulations for being selected this poem as the poem of the day.

The height of artistic reality, more and less than love, more of luck than will.

Very very passionate poem. The words carry the reader through your romantic realm and he smells, tastes and feels every bit of you.

The more poems of the poet I read the more speechless I become! What a beautiful poem! Serious, funny, warm, romantic and so incredibly sexy without being lewd in any way, shape or form!
