Dear ma'm, this poem has touched me to the core...very emotional....no child can ever love their parents more than they do....I loved your first line and the title...very apt...great...I shall take this to my favs..10+
all the four comments told a lot........ impermanance of values really hurt you and me........now the whole world is demanding: simplify...simplify everything........values also getting eroded............still we write..........thanks.........
Impatient youth ever so forgetful Youth itself is impermanence Impertinance too quoting What was taught to them before Twisted to their ego and will But, the liquid flexible river Is stonger than the rock And will continue its journey Despite the help or none of any! What dignity and strength of will Displayed in silence seeking Strength from masters on the shelf! Mam' the situation dramatic the emotions extreme and your thought to throw in other charaters who stand silent witness to the scene - And you start with the line to say, 'Am no poet, so allow me to put it in prose', A real classy touch there. This poem could only be concieved in your mind! Wonderful display of your talents Mam'. Angel.
mamtji deeply emotional and inspiring the refs to gibran and bach redoubled the pleasure of the read.... you did well not to lower your gaurd.... you know u could have just wept....for all u know...! cheers and ten
I am able to sense out the silent grief that restricts its tears in these lines...the expression ‘flowing river climbing over rocks and flows’ has wonderful relevance in the context of this poem...thanks Mamta...10
